ABOUT THE ARTIST
William Morris (1834-1896) was a revolutionary designer, craftsman, writer, social activist, and conservationist who introduced a distinctive visual aesthetic to British interiors. He championed hand craftsmanship over industrial mass production, leaving a lasting impact on British design. His work in furniture, stained glass, and textiles continues to be produced today.
